This week has had it's ups and downs. The week started out on a sad note with the fatal crash of one of Quantum Helicopter's machines up near Alice Arm. On board were the pilot and two passengers. This is Quantum's second crash in just over a year. In 2005 Australian Phil o'Driscoll was critically injured when his helicopter crashed while landing in a remote spot north of Terrace. ** on a side note, Phil continues to recover back home in Australia. He underwent his 35th surgery in early September and hopes to be able to return to Canada with Kate & Hannah for a visit in 2007. Love ya, Phil! You're never too far away in our thoughts!
My website continues to grow with the addition of this new blog which will probably replace the site forum. The Terrace Concert Society is the latest member to sign up for the free club advertising services. I've recently exchanged promotional banners with an City Guide affiliate in Mexico City and I'm considering contacting a few others. And I've also started digging through photo albums for photos to upload in the gallery.
